A Study and Comparative analysis of cluster-based data dissemination protocols in VANET

Today thousands of people around the world are injured or dying because of vehicle accidents and almost one fourth of all deaths caused by road injury. Therefore, now a day’s vehicles are equipped with sensors which records information about the nearby traffic situation and possible hazards to provide more comfortable and safety driving. To do so, clustering protocols uses various data aggregation and dissemination mechanisms. In this paper, we have reviews various cluster based data dissemination protocols which define the way to transfer information between vehicles to vehicles and roadside equipments with minimum propagation delay. KEYWORDS— VANET, data dissemination, Clustering algorithms.
